Labor Caribbean Netherlands and the position of the government as an employer (13-01)

The project consists of two studies: “The labor market in the Caribbean Netherlands and The position of the government as employer Caribbean Netherlands.

Both surveys were conducted by Ecorys in partnership with Curconsult and MOOZ Research, commissioned by the National Caribbean Netherlands (RCN), the public entities Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba and the Education Labor Caribbean Netherlands (ROA CN). In researching the labor market in the Caribbean Netherlands, based on a large-scale telephone survey of 636 companies, personal interviews with 115 experts and desk research sought to answer the question of how to improve the functioning of the labor market in the Caribbean Netherlands . Specific attention was given to the connection of labor demand and supply from vocational education.

In the second study is an understanding of the position and image of the National Caribbean Netherlands and the Public Bodies as employers.

Media Research Curaçao 2013 (13-02)

, this media research on Curaçao is the sixth investigation since 2003. The study is carried out every 2 years for the benefit of a number of companies and organizations. This year, 17 organizations contribute to the costs of the investigation. All have in common that they use local media to convey marketing or communication messages to their target audience (s). Aim of the study is to give the participating companies a tool to achieve a sound marketing and communication. The survey was conducted among more than 2,000 respondents and answers the question “Who are the local mass media, namely television, radio, newspapers, magazines and reaches local websites, how often, when, where and how and who follow local on Facebook? ” The results are comparable to previous studies media and measure changes and developments in the media-use of the respondents. Specific attention was paid to changes in use of Facebook which also focused on media since the 2011 survey.

The severance Research, commissioned by the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) (13-03)

The Cessantiafonds protects employees against the cost of unemployment beyond the employee’s fault. The insurance provides a worker once a benefit depends on the duration of employment and his last salaris.Doel the severance Research is the mapping of the current and future risk for Cessantiafonds Curaçao. Customer Satisfaction Survey insurance (13-04)

Research is what the customer expects from the insurance company and the means to deploy the insurance company has to provide optimal customer service. Curconsult conducted four sub-surveys that together provide insight into behavior, perceptions and expectations of klant.Het research focuses on existing customers in Curacao and Aruba, namely: individuals or households who have completed mainly general and life insurance, insurance agents which mediate taking out insurance, the companies have entered into a pension scheme for their staff and finally the employees of the insurance company, which is carried out a so-called mirror investigation.

Economic impact study Joremi, Sint Eustatius (13-05)

The ‘Joremi area consists of 75.7 hectares, located in White Wall, St. Eustatius. It is intended to develop this area in the future. In the master plan will be built houses in this area have been prepared on this subject, one or more hotels, restaurants and shops. Curconsult analyze the economic effects of this development on St. Eustatius in the field of employment, government revenue and economic contribution to the Gross Domestic Product.

Customer satisfaction research provider telephony, television and Internet service provider (13-06)

This study focuses on consumer behavior and -meningen with regard to mobile telephony, Internet and cable television in the islands of Curaçao and Sint Maarten and Suriname. The study was commissioned by a large provider of telephony, Internet and cable television and all (egg) countries conducted among residents and businesses. Aim of the study is to better understand the customer (needs, experiences, opinions) how the customer chooses a product or service, how to evaluate the customer service of the provider, how spends the customer his or her income and what the market share of the supplier.

Research among house hunters and survey of tenants (13-07)

This is a study commissioned by the Foundation Fundashon Cas Bonairiano (FCB) among home seekers who are registered with the Foundation for housing and tenants who already rent a house by the Foundation. The aim of the survey among home seekers is to identify the housing needs among house hunters as registered at the FCB in relation to the home living situation and ability to pay rent FCB and on this basis to make recommendations for housing policy on Bonaire.

The aim of the survey among tenants is to determine the tenant satisfaction, gaining a better understanding of who the FCB-tenant and how income and purchasing power of the tenant relationship in relation to the ability to pay rent. Besides these two studies was Curconsult advisor FCB and in that context conceived include letters to Dutch authorities and the Parliamentary Committee for Kingdom Relations about the effects of the real estate tax 01-01-2011, AFM control and rent assessment scheme.

Perception 2013 “together to build ”, the two measurement (13-09)

Further research: Image of Isla Refinery (13-10)

Commissioned by Isla Refinery has Curconsult together with Infinitum further research done on the image of the Refinery in the population of Curaçao. The first study (baseline) occurred in 2010. There is quantitative research (survey) conducted among 619 residents of the island, where the attitude of the respondent towards the refinery was investigated (ideas and opinions about actions of the refinery, the impact of the refinery in Curacao, which media have the respondent information about Isla, opinion on the future of the Island). In the 2013 survey distinguished between respondents who “in the shadow” housing or “not under the smoke ‘live. Of all respondents, 170 respondents live “not under the smoke.

Market research insurance (13-11)

for an insurance company’s market research done on Curacao and Aruba. The aim of the study was to gain insight into the awareness of the relevant company. This was done face-to-face interviews in the street and made use of the media messages (ads) used by the company at that time. A total of 644 (422 Curacao and Aruba 222) inhabitants of the islands interviewed.
